I'm beginning to hanker after a campervan.
I successfully imported my car (Toyota Estima) and this has been a bargain.
Can I get a bargain with campervans? Hopefully the campervan experts (I'm not!!) can advise me.
Here's one which is available from Autoadvan, a Toyota Toyoace, 1997 for £16740.
What do you think of this one?

The beds would be too small for both the wife and I but apart from that, it looks good. ------------- Lobey.

There is also a place on Hayling Island that sells the little VW vans.
I had a small "Bedford" that was a Jap vehicle re-badged and that never felt very safe. Heaven knows what these little VW* replicas are like to drive
* One wonders what VW make of them?

There is a company called Wellhouse Leisure, www.wellhouseleisure.com in Yorkshire at Shepley near Denby Dale. Apparently they import vans from Japan, new and secondhand. and convert them to campervans - they are not all that distance from you in Sheffield.

Hi, we have a Bongo, best money we ever spent (having been caravanners for years). Could go on all day about why I luv it but a few reasons: great to drive, mobility, value for money, very funky (everywhere we go someone wants a look). Bought it in July and have been out frequently since, long journeys and short. Looking forward to using it during the winter as well and have got our dog pet passport in anticipation of going to France next year. Have a look at www.bongofury.co.uk . Some great deals going about for them as well.
