hi all.

a bit of my alternator has snapped clean off - near the drivebelt bracket it gets mounted on. does anyone know if it is possible to weld this back on or does the material not like to be welded?

it,s alluminium so could be welded but would be very expensive .

cheaper and safer to buy a replacement.

yeh mick as you know i am all for saving a few quid but that could be an accident waiting to happen.
