Hi Guy's. Still looking for my dream little camper. I went to see a Bongo but seems a little cramped. Keep missing vans on e.bay, must be too slow? I've seen a couple of SWB Ford's Which look nice and I thought they may be cheap to maintain, or am i mistaken? BUT how about rust probs. Are they prone? I've had a few Trannies over the years & they were rather thirsty. Budget will only go to about £5000 so the dealers are out.

Once again, any advice from you guy's would be most welcome

Hi,sorry you havent found one yet, I'm still biased towards the bongo, best thing I ever spent money on.  If you get a decent drive away awning you can triple your living space.  Drives like a dream and easy to maintain.  But I can understand the size issue, it does take a bit of getting used to!

Hi Joan, Think about a Autosleeper - very easy to park and drive, although the space issue can get serious without a driveaway awning. Yous should be able to get a decent one for 5 / 6K. Good luck & enjoy whatever you end up with.......
