Hi, I am at that stage where I could be tempted to change my van ( although my head says dont!!!).
I was looking at the Trigano Tribute 550 yesterday and really liked the layout and compact size. However I couldnt work out where on earth you would store bulkier items such as bedding, folding chairs etc as it had loads of small cupboard but spaces such like under the bed were full of heaters, batteries etc.
Anyone got one of these who could comment on livability? Also anyone look at these and then found a better option?
Have any of the local dealers got any in stock. Todds and Marquis are at Preston as you could always go and have a good measure up. Most good dealers are fine with you putting beds up etc.
We have a Duetto but only take items we need don't have a back box or an awning either. The chairs get left at home all Winter. We also have a clean out once a year or so and items that have stayed in but not used get brought out.
I have the Trigano 650 it's brill we have no problems with storage at all, bedding in top locker over the seats pillows under rear side seat and memory foam mattress tied with a strap is stored in the shower tray. I downsized from a Auto sleeper Gatcolmb coach built. Ther is more room in the 650 but less work top than the 550.
Malcolms motorhomes in Stoke on Trent is a dealer for them, also try as above the tribby forum.
Hi john,
We took possession of one of these on Tuesday. We are packing for the weekend and had the same concerns. Down and down type sleeping bags, pillow cases, two self inflating mats and a sheet have gone in the over cab locker. It’s really surprisingly big. You need to be tall or use a step to do it. Pillows MIGHT fit in but double as cushions anyway. We’re not taking the filler cushions. See how we go...
Outside table has gone behind driver’s seat and two chairs at an angle in the wardrobe. Hoping they and the hanging clothes will stop each other sliding around. From experience I wouldn’t bother with the fiamma ‘foot’ to use van table outside unless you like eating standing up.
Would love to hear any good ideas you come up with. Unless you want to start packing stuff in the loo, space is in fairly short supply, isn’t it?
They're massive Ducato based campervans. How could you not have space for everything? I know families of four using these size vans with 4 bike garage in back.
