We are new members of the site. Have booked for the Pickering show through the link. We are going to be there on Saturday night but will be leaving Sunday evening due to work commitments. This will give us 2 good days at the show and hopefully some time to say hello to everyone. Have booked tickets for the Saturday evening show too.
We will be going tomorrow too. Rained quite a bit over last couple of days but very windy today so has dried up the ground a bit at the site. As long as we don't get a bucket of rain overnight it should be ok.
Hopefully see a few of u there. Does anyone know if our pitches are grass or hardstanding.
Well we had rain, wind, sun and when we arrived they obviously hadn't given us enough pitches as we had to park on the makeshift road but I still enjoyed it! It was great to meet Titch and hubby they made us feel very welcome. Also the other guy, scottish, soz didn't get your name. Picked up quite a lot of advice and tips from everyone we met.
The show on Saturday night was great even though Freddie Starr backed out We got the Grumbleweeds instead and they were brill.
You will have to wait another 3 years Big Brian56. Warners agreed/booked the pickering site for 5 years and this is only year 2.IMO it was dissapointing this year as there were very few trade stalls compared to previous years and i was glad that this year we decided to book a nearby camp site and just go as day visitors. Just hope that lincoln is as good as it has been in the past when its on later this year.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
