Breakdown cover up for renewal again, after watching the one show last night there advice was to shop around which i have done and found GEM breakdown cover at £81.90 compared the AA which has come in at £158.50 for the same level of cover.
What i need to know is are they any good?. we need cover for the motorhome and car.
The short answer is yes, I have been a member for 20 years and have used them 3 times, I chose the RECLAIM well that was the only option when i joined and i must say that they send the cheque back by return of post so on all occasions i have had the money back in my account before the credit card has been debited, hope that makes sense.
There is a limit on the size of vehicle they will recover this is an extract direct from their web site

However I am seriously looking at changing to ADAC later this year, if you travel in Europe they appear to offer a very very good deal,
