Hi all, just wanted to tell you all that I'm going back to a caravan. I've got bad problems with my legs and need to put them up a lot - couldn't do it with our motorhome layout. We bought the wrong layout really and can't afford to part-ex so going back to a caravan. We found an island bed model on a single axle, Abbey GTS 420, and we're looking forward to using it.

If anyone is interested or knows of anyone, we are selling our Brian James Smart car trailer.

Cheers.

Hi Dreadnought.

We're disappointed that things didn't work out as we'd hoped but yes, I am looking forward to going back to the caravan. If we could afford it we'd get a different layout but never mind, at least we'll still be doing the circuits with the Abbey.

Do you know anyone looking for a smart car trailer?

We went back to a caravan from our MH we bought what we consider to be the wrong one & learnt a big & expensive mistake. Love our 'van may go back to a MH in years to come when I consider I'm perhaps a bit too old to tow a 'van. Perhaps another 30 odd years then

Hi scruffy

Yes, we're a bit disappointed, thought we'd bought the right one but with my legs being as bad as they are, it's best to let it go. Who knows, when we retire we might have another go, I'm 54 now so only 11 years to go!!

Do you miss your motorhome or are you glad you changed back?

Nice caravan, you should enjoy that, like the lay out.

Hi Roy, we picked it up from Highbridge this afternoon, it's a lovely van. Only thing was they seemed to have lost the removable carpets so they're ordering a new set for us and we don't have an instruction book for the cd radio. Have to try and get one from the internet if we find we need one. They also didn't tell us it had no leisure battery and when we queried it with the pdi bloke he gave us his workshop one which was nice but it's as flat as a pancake. Just hope it charges up alright.
