Hi folks. I am wondering if we could replace our broken N80L thetford fridge with a electrolux fridge? if so what equivalent do I look for, as our thetford fitted over the wheel arch. (dimensions are 48.6cm W x 54.3cm D x 82.1cm H)
I have sent the thetford fridge to be checked by thetford agent, but there was nothing he could do. believe me he checked everything!
Hi there Cininky, I got a bit a problem with my thetford fridge, don't know what your problem is but mine is when it's on gas the the little green flame indicator doesn't work properly so you can't tell if it's alight or not, even though it alight OK, I got it booked in for the new year to replace the faulty part going to cost £200 to fix it, I asked the price of a new fridge it was £700 . I think thetford should stick to making BOGS as there fridges are a bit to expensive, it looks like your fridge is the same as mine a L100 model.
Hi bob, we have a thetford N80L thetford, all fridges are flippin expensive new and for repairs!! our fridge works on gas electric and the 12v, it just doesnt get cold inside fridge, we've turned it upside down and rocked it.... but to no avail and the engineer said he couldnt do anything. anyway it seems electrolux (now dometic) is just as expensive. so looks like a new fridge and the cheapest thetford N80L model is £528 i've found so far. will keep looking on ebay, missed one that sold for £389 the other week!
I can recommend this lovely bloke for second hand camping fridges - he really does a good service and all his fridges are checked and he even sends you photos of them working!
