On our recent trip to France we saw a few tenters, a few caravanners and MILLIONS of motorhomes.   We waved so much that I have huge sympathy for HM.

Looking through the New Posts tonight it seems that Tents are by far the most popular in terms of questions asked.

Perhaps more tenters are at home in this weather and the rest are in motor homes and caravans watching TV instead of filling in forms.

As a caravaner I know that I can be very popular on rallies with our motor caravan friends as when some(not all) get set up they are delighted to accept lifts from the caravaner and his vehicle.

One holiday in the South of France a couple with a Kon- Tiki came with us every day for a month.

Very good company they were too

You must be an incredibly kind and generous person to act as chauffeur to motorhomers - most people (including my Old Man) wouldn't.  Having said that, he wouldn't dream of imposing on someone because he was too lazy to go about in the motorhome.
