I think that you and emmitdb have now given us all the information that we need to be confident that we can start our trip with the right setup as far as gas bottles are concerned. I shall order the pigtail and adaptor from BES today.

We'd like to thank you both once again for your assistance and for the clarity of the information.  We've been 'researching' this topic on and off for a few weeks now on various sites and forums and have usually come away with our heads spinning. But at last we feel that we have an understanding on what we need.
