Hello All,

I am looking for an easy to pitch and well fitting drive-away awning for my VW T25.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have seen the following two,  any thoughts?

I've had others, now have a khyam ..would never go back ...for ease of use it simply cant be beaten...

Can't beat the Khyam in my opinion.  This was our one.

How quick are the Kyhams to pitch?  two person job?

I have a feeling that it might be a little large for us,  only 2 adults and a dog!?

So it sounds like Khyam is the way to go....  have had a good look round and this one  http://www.khyam.co.uk/detail.asp?p=387 looks the rightkind of size for the two of us,   can someone just have a peek at the link and tell me if you think it will fit ok?  please just sense check me!

The Khyams that people are recommending are the quick-erect style, the one you're looking at is a standard seperate poles & fabric that won't be a one-man job to put up, you need one like this: http://www.khyam.co.uk/detail.asp?p=348

It's quite a lot more money but we have one of their quick-erect tents that's bigger than that and I can put it up single handed in 5 minutes and I'm only 5'4".

We just use a sun canopy on our T4, occasionally combined with a big Quechua pop-up, but if we were to go for an awning I'd definitely go for a Kyham.

like the vicket says... it has to have the quick erect system or your just as well buying any awning.... I have the motordome classic...was around £280
