Hi everyone,

I have trawled the internet and made loads of phone calls trying to get European breakdown cover for our motorhome that weighs 6 tonnes and is 28 feet long, but i can't seem to find anyone willing to cover us!

Any recommendations from you guys would be much appreciated!

It's the German equivalent of our AA and is very easy to join.

Quite a few UK mhomers use them - me included.

They cover up to 7.5 tonnes 10m long, 2.55m wide, 3m high for about 80 euros a year and have English speakers.

 

Have googled ADAC motorhome but only get loads of forums on it. Any other ideas?

The cover is for all the vehicles you or your partner own and covers all of Europe and a bit beyond.

There are certain limitations on recovery in the UK. I believe that you have to be 50 miles from home for recovery to take place.

UK recovery is handled by the AA IIRC
