sounds to me like a valve is stuck somewhere . Oh before i forget welcome to the forum .

I would look through the manual or carry out a google search for info on your heater read up on it then start stripping to put right.

Hi, when you say water is getting to the heater, is it actually filling the heater tank?
I seem t remember, there's a non-return valve on the cold inlet which possibly could have jammed.

Not sure if there are other valves on the outlet.

Next thing to check would be the hot tap. Is the system constantly pressurised and controlled by a pressure switch or does the tap have a built-in switch which activates the pump when the tap is opened (those micro switches can be a pain). Is the rest of the hot tap operating (opening) correctly?

Just a thought: does the pump kick in when you open the hot tap?
