We have just joined the wonderful world of motor home owners !When we chose our much loved second home it needed some tender loving care, the table needs a new surface due to two very large chips in it (they have been filled ) I don't want fablon cos it will eventually come away at the edges. Does anyone know of a place where i can get Formica sheets or thin vaneers of melamine?
Hi, Julie, the problem is that formica/melamine comes in 8x4 sheets, i had the same problem and i found a company who make kitchens and they gave me piece, even cut it to size, just bought the contact adhesive.
HI Julie first of all welcome to the forum you will get a load of good advice on here
What i would do is look for a laminate stockist in the yellow pages you will probably find one local to you, they sell worktops etc and you would probably get a piece for £5/10.00 . Failing that look on ebay you will find it there .
Hope this helps in some way
