Hello All,
Can anybody give me some guidelines regarding the use of the fire that is fitted in the Autoquest 270 (1989)?
Just some general how to use and do's & dont's etc..
We have 2 young children and have just bought our first motorhome so i'm just a little worried about using it..
Thanks in advance!
Clinton
Firstly, what sort of fire is it ? Carver?? Have you not got the instructions for it?
Secondly, if you bought it from a dealer, did they give you a warranty and check that everything was working. Did they run over the workings of the van with you?
The one thing that springs to mind is - use propane. Butane will not vapourise in very cold weather. Oh, and if you use EHU, invest in a small fan heater!
Enjoy your van and I hope you have lots of good holidays in it.

I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
for peace of mind always fit a carbon monoxide detector and also a smoke alarm, you dont say which make/model it is , but most gas appliances nowadays, if used and maintained correctly are ultra safe.
