Hi there everyone,I am new to this site and find it fascinating,I have a motorhome its a 2005 Autotrail 696g and i have a crack or split in the rooflight dome and one of the catches has snapped off, anyone know where i can get a second hand one, I know i can get a new one from leisure spares but the dome is over £200 and the lifting handles are £40 a pair.We live in chorley lancs,and we like to stay on the caravan club site at ribchester,nice walks by the river ribble, nice views from this site over ribchester'.
Just keep looking on ebay, the right one might come along!! As long the one on the roof is not letting in rain(water) otherwise just do a temporary repair with a soldering iron, very slowly melt the crack/split together, or simple duck tape should do
Ditto above, Its a great back up for mishaps that may occur while away, and just hope you will never use it. I have had mine for years when a roof light started to leak, biggest problem was borrowing a ladder, but a friendly farmer obliged.
