Right a quick reply would be appreciated as my mate is going mad as having to fork out £110 for a starter battery for his ducato 2.8 2007, right we managed to get the bloody thing out, it has never been taken off in the 6 years thats been on the vehicle, although the camper was bought brand new in 2007, anyhow, the cells nearest the positive post are showing white on the battery liquid tester, the ones nearest the negative post are almost showing green, we took the battery to the nearest halfords and had it checked, it was up to 75% of its capacity and the bloke said there was nout wrong with it, i suggested he changes it but he won't because the man from halfords said it was ok, what would some of you do?

Well its not a problem as such, he is one of this blokes that just wont listen to good advice, and he so f.....g stingy its like trying to get water out of a stone. Do you remember VICTOR MELDREW right he is ten times worse. And to tell all of you the truth i do not think i will be going anywhere on holyday with him ever again, moans and groans and doom and gloom should have been his name.
Well thanks all for the replies, guess what he went to halfords and bought one, his wife (bless her ) said it broke his heart at having to shell £109.99 this pm. he asked me to fit the bloody thing, and you know what it took about 5 minutes to slide it in but about half an hour to put the cover on all those positive posts, i am sure some of you know exactly what i'm talking about.
