Hi there - another new one joined up.  Bit about us - we caught the motorhoming bug about 2 years ago.  Purchased an Eldiss last March and have had a great year - holidays, weekends away, shows etc.

So now we are waiting delivery of our Auto-trail Dakota (March 1st 2005) and then we are in the fortunate position of being able to full time (for a few years anyway!)

Interested to hear from any full timers (and part timers) about interesting places to go - home and abroad.  And hoping to join some rallies and meets along the way.

Also looking forward to joining in some of the interesting threads we have been reading.  You seem like a sociable and happy lot!

Is the van you are getting the same one as in the magazine this month, the 840 with twin axles, a bit big for us though, but looks fantastic.

Good luck on your delivery date !  On our new van we were promised 01/03/05, but has now been put back to 08/04/05 and there's still 5 or 6 months to go, so who knows......

No unfortunately it is not the twin axle model.  But we are pretty happy with it.

The good news is it is already ready - so we could take it early if we wanted, but have decided to wait.

welcome to freedom,!!!  We are just changing our van, a merc auto-trail frontier cherokee 2001, and take delivery of a ford chasson welcome 28 in Jan 2005,.

This is our first time on the site so hope to talk over plenty with fellow campers,

Welcome shell n baz, and Carolyn & Paul, I am pretty new to this site as well, just bought my first M/H not new, and looking forward to my first outing in it.

The are  very helpful bunch of people on here, maybe we will meet up one day.
