We are collecting our brand new Auto-Trail Dakota on Saturday and we cannot wait!!! The Cheyenne is now empty and clean, ready for the swap-over. Cannot believe how much stuff we had packed in her - there's enough to fill a 3-bedroom house!!!! We will be having a good sort out before we fill the Dakota up!!!
We had planned a long weekend away for Whitsun in Woolacombe but have had a re-think and cancelled due to the kids holidays (don't fancy a ball or frisbee walloping the Dakota a few days after collection!!!). So, looks like our maiden trip will be 10th June!!!
Happy camper here today on countdown......4 more sleeps!!!

Hi
We are also collecting our new Burstner Elegance i821G on Saturday and know just how you feel! Our Aviano is now clean and empty - (don't know where all this stuff comes from ) ready for the swap.... feel sad to see her go though.
We then go to Vanbitz for satellite system B/holiday weekend, then to France 18th June. Like you... we can't wait
We're new to motorhoming - bought our brand new Bessacarr in March and are still finding our feet and getting used to it after having a caravan for 5 years.
Have been reading your blog with interest Kernow - as we're off to Exmoor House in Dulverton soon, I take it you like this site??! And weirdly enough we have a dog called Paddy too!!

Hi Chelsea Girl
Will try and get some pics on this week!
The Dakota will be our 3rd motorhome after caravanning for a few years and we love it. Hope you're enjoying yours?
Exmoor House is a brilliant site - one of our favourites. Like you, it's not far from home. Should be even better with the new toilet/shower blocks that open at Whitsun? Love Dulverton itself, very doggie friendly. The pub nearest to the site (called The Bridge) is ace too - great food, excellent cider and you meet all sorts of people there (mainly campers!). The Lion Hotel is also doggy friendly and the food is good there too - AND you get a 10% discount on food & drink IF you show them your CC membership card.
Hope you, your motorhome and your PADDY enjoy lovely Dulverton - we're back there in August!

We are avoiding Bank Hols too, Easter's lunacy was a step too far for us. We went away last weekend for a long weekend and it was dead quiet, phew!
Enjoy your lovely new motorhomes.
Ali
It was the Easter 'brats' that put us off Ali. Oh well, plenty of other time to avoid them eh? LOL
Will do.
