We are thinking of buying a bessicar E749 overall length is 8.67m we have been told a lot of sights will not leave you on because of the length. I would be very grateful if i could get some feedback
Yes thats true,but some sites allow them if they have hard standing for your size of van,welcome to the forum.

We've never owned a van of that length(our current being only just over 7mtrs),so I'm only really commenting from observations...So although it's true enough that some sites would struggle with a van of that size,it's only usually when the reach American RV proportions that they cause real problems...and sites sometimes have the odd "larger" pitch for them anyhow...
(..Most of the sites that we've used have had at least one tag axle Mh or RV on site..)
Obviously,it's size may exclude you from some of the smaller,rural or CL/CS type of site but on the whole,I wouldn't be too concerned about finding sites that would accept it..
(..I may of cause be talking total tosh....so I expect to be "corrected" by someone more clued up.. )
It is simply not true that the CC wont accept anything over 28 foot. The length does vary from site to site depending upon access, pitch size etc. I have seen 36 to 38 foot RVs on more than one CC site. If you are a member of the club, the sites handbook will let you know the maximum size of outfit they can take.
I think you will find that the size of outfit you are considering will not present too many problems.

I have the 560 and I have no problems with the length and have seen many vans longer on most of the sites ive been on here and abroad I would give you one caution although most sites are old farm land and access to these can be hairy to say the least so bare in mind which site you choose as actually getting there is more of a challenge that being there
