Fairly new to Motorhoming..Tried our new Fiamma choccs for the first time at the weekend - the site dipped down slightly at the front, so I drove onto the choccs and it gave me a lift of about 2 inches at the front. Result was ok, but still had a bit of a slope down towards the cab.
To be honest, the slope wasn't that significant, but I was probably at the highest part of the choccs..
how do you tend to cope when the slope is greater than about two inches - do you stack more choccs on top of each other?...or are there other types that would cope with greater slopes a bit better?
Try parking across the slope and put both wheels on the same side on the ramps. The distance across the axles is quite a bit less than the distance between the axles and therefore you have less hight to lift.

You might need a set of levellers/ramps to make your motorhome level. Chocks are to stop the van rolling away down a slope.
I would assume,as he "drove up them", Voka' is using ramps,of sorts..it's just that he's just refered to them as "choccs"..
(..Having said that, most "levellers" are higher than the 2" metioned in the OP,so unsure of exactly what is being used....? )
We used to carry an assortment of chunks/sections of wood, which we sometimes used under the ramps..but they did tend to slip when driving up them..
I shoudl have clarified by saying that they are actually Fiamma Levellers, not choccs
I'll certainly think about manouevering the van so that they have a bit more affect - main challenge from last week was that the site had a lovely view of the river from the cab window - so we really wanted to park with the nose pointing towards it!... they didn't allow sideways parking on the pitch...
We have the levellers with the 'bumps' which are slightly higher and easier to use as there is a natural hollow for the wheels to sit in. Still occasionally not able to get totally level but have to make a choice of view or being level. Have seen people with all kinds of setups, some which look decidedly unsafe
You want some proper levellers, as opposed to fiammas 'cheese wedges'. I got a pair of Milenco Quattro's which are like ski-ramps in comparison. Theyve never failed to 'level' the van yet.
