Does anyone know where we could get breakdown cover for a VW camper 1972 please? We are with Green flag for our cars but it seems they only cover for vehicles under 16 years old.

I am with AA through my bank so covers me not the car and I have a 1965 van, they love working on it! Through ClassicLine Insurance I get free breakdown and thats through Equity Red Star.
ADAC covers the driver whatever vehicle you are driving, they also have some other good benefits. Only snag I found is that you have to pay it by standing order & if you want to cancel you have to do it 3 months before the renewal date, apparently this is normal in Germany. I have always been able to get someone who speaks English when I needed to, fortunately I haven't ever had to use the breakdown service.
When we had a VW trooper last year and have had since 1990 Safeguard of Leeds and the AA was included in our bonus protected insurance and when we needed them we had no problems what so ever. Everything made easy. had we not gone to Mobility for our car now we would of stayed where we were. They were bought out or merged but thye seem to be back into it.
