You will find plenty of all kinds of help onsite. Including games, quizzes, slimming and all other manner of topics.
We used to have a smaller VW campervan but had to sell and had no intention of missing out on the old wildlife so managed to get a mobility car and now have an FC for our getting around camping life. Great,! will be off for 10 weeks from May out of these brick walls can't wait already getting restless. But stil have along way to go yet. Still can dream though.
Hi and welcome to the site - we will be the proud new owners of a motorhome at the end of the month when we collect it.
Been a tenter for a good few years and in the last couple had a converted ambulance mini bus - looking forward to weekends and holidays in comfort - without a bucket with a lid
Hi pab51 join the club, had a blow out on a caravan many years ago, so we bought a motorhome but really no different, with tyres you have to check the wall of the tyres and you will see a date on them if they are five years old they will need changing, the weight of a motorhome is greater than a caravan so the walls get very weak,so make sure you check them, also you can get them filled with sealant that way at least you can feel safe,as always you will enjoy the life and meet lots of like motorhomers, dont forget to wave to us .regards H
Hi, and welcome to this site and the band of Motor homers. You will see as the days go by that you will get quite a lot of replies to your question on this occasion and of any others that you may pose. It is difficult to imagine what, especially, may help you in the terms of advice. So I would sugest that you pose another question about anything specific that you may be unsure of. We areall quite happy to share our knowledge and each of us learn something new whilst reading other posts. Some far too technical for me!.At this time I would say, think about joining one of the 'clubs'...they do offer some lovely sites although I dont think any cheaper than others, and both have far too complicated booking arrangements...bit military on that side. However the sites (I am told) are lovely. Unless you are used to travelling in Europe already, I would maybe say get used to your 'van' this years and venture further next. he clubs do offer a wealth of knowledge for going abroad.
Decide for yourself whether you want to have a full facility site, or rely on the van for all of your cooking washing heating ....its hard to say which would be greener..gas (your own) or electric pay for the sites
You have camped before so relax, enjoy and be free to do so....wishing you good weather and a good year ahead..
Benvenuto/bienvenue/willkommen/benvenido and finally a nice big WELCOME in english, enjoy the camper and may it take you wherever you wish it to take you.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
