Right experienced friends, I have a problem which is driving me nuts and actually taking over my whole life!!!
I have some of my Transit van conversion done, but am very rapidly running out of money and patience.
I need to a bed, I have about 6ft length max and about 5ft 6 width(minus 2 wheel arches) to put a bed, my wood working skills are very very minimal, and would love a rock and roll type bed, but, they are so dear wherever i look on ebay etc.
So if any of you have an idea, a 2nd hand one u want to sell, please drop me a message before the sledgehammer comes out and my "project" becomes a van again!!

OH Dear you wont get a rock and roll bed across the width of a transit .

Best bet is bench seat either side of the van with a provision for caravan slat bed in between to make up the bed when needed then you also have more storage space under the benches.

Hope this helps in some way please let us all know how you get on .

Hi, Check out sofa beds, the futon type on eBay. I found a wooden one for £30 that needed very little modification to fit my van.
