Has anyone any recommendations for classic car insurance on a 1969 VW T2 ?

Probably be doing about 2000-3000 (hopefully!) and it isn't the main household vehicle, recreational only

Just insured a T2 1973 with HIC, sister company of Adrian Flux, £140 for the year, 3000 miles -

Haven't a clue what I am in for

Have just spent all day demolishing the front wall of the garden so I can pull it up there..

All the online quotes seem a waste of time - best just to call them on Monday

No discount as such for being a member here but did manage to get a fiver off

THIS is the club that will answer all your queries regarding anything to do with Classic Campers.

Both of our Campervans were classics and we were members of this club for many years.

However, in the end we went with the Co-op Motor Insurance as they were by far the cheapest.

Phoned HIC and evidently they are the same people as Just Kampers anyway

They already had my quote on the system, and the lad on the phone said they cant better any of them prices

He also mentioned the agreed value - cost is £15 to add this, just need to provide 6 photos so that they agree

Insurance quoted was £171 on a 1969 vw t2 van for up to 3000 miles, social use only

I went with justkampers in the end,happy with the £171

Perhaps we can start a new thread for all the lovely new vw's!!

(bit obsessed with them atm!)
