Well I am so excited - tomorrow is my last day at work.  Then 8 weeks left to finish clearing out our belongings, pick up Homer (our motorhome) at the start of March and off on our travels.

We have most of the summer planned, various motorhome shows and RC (radio control) flying shows.  Need to get booked on a few UKCS meets aswell.....   Then October off down to Europe - France and Spain this year.  Looking forward to meeting some of you on the way.

Also watch out for more posts over the next few weeks letting you know how we are getting on - as I expect to have more time on my hands once I am at home all day! .......  Baz says i won't have any time as he'll keep me busy with the packing and organising - he'll be lucky (LOL)

Wardrobe clear out next week - get rid of my 'work' clothes.  Then a big sort out of the last of the stuff we are not storing...... foloowed by a car boot sale!   I keep moving things out of his 'dump' box into my car boot box and then they mysteriously move again - wonder why (probably because I can't stand the thought of standing in the cold at 5 o'clock on a Sunday morning in Milton Keynes - Baz!)

Anyway that's the update - bye for now.

Best of luck to you both. I hope you have a great time.

What type of motorhome is Homer?

And where will you be travelling to before the October ferry?

Thanks Six Wheels

Homer is an Autotrail Dakota.

All sorts of things planned - motorhome shows, radio control airshows, CL sites near both sets of parents so we can spend time with them, see a bit of the UK, spend time with friends - make new friends.

We appreciate we are so lucky to be in the position to do this and we intend to make the most of it.  Maybe catch up with you at a meet sometime.

Shell & Baz

I presume you are going full-timing? Very best of luck!

The Chinese say -"If you haven't used it for a year, you don't need it!!

Hope this helps with the packing!!!!

Well that's it you've finished work now so can really concentrate on the clearing out. I just wouldn't know where to begin here. Perhaps you could put some stuff on e-bay?

Keep us updated, look forward to meeting you on a UKCS meet somewhere before you take off to warmer climes.
