Hi i have just got a khyam driveaway sleeper , when trying to put it up in the garden one of flexi poles shattered. when speaking to khyam they said i put too much pressure on it and it was very rare for one to break.they are sending me another pole free of charge . has anyone experanced the same and if so is there any advice you can give .

been alot of discussion on the vw forum regarding this..appears to be a fault with the sleeper awning only ...someone from khyam had come on to the forum attempting to blame repositioning of the van to far from original spot after people had driven away from it and therefore putting excess strain on the poles..but as I your case this was quickly shot down..I believe they are working to sort it and quickly replacing any parts that break for free...whether its a design fault or a manufacturing problem hasnt been made clear yet ...sorry cant be of any more help ...???
