We have a Fiat Ducato camper conversion which is not coming up to current regulations. We have been told the gas bottle should be in an airtight container with a drop hole. Ours is just in a cupboard under the sink/stove unit. Anyone have any ideas on this?
it should be vented to the exterior. any chance of fitted a vent to the floor of he cupboard, so if you do get a gas leak then as it is heavier than air it will escape thorough the vent.
I think it needs to be sealed off from the inside of the van. As in leaking gas cant enter from around a cupboard door. It wants to be in a locker accessed from the outside.
