well we made it!! so far we are about 50km south of Bordeaux, staying in a fantastic little campsite, with wifi and pool!!! we used a small private Aite the first night.. 6 euros, with toilet and showers! had a lovely nights sleep.. and thought all was going well, till i fell off the steps coming out of the van in the morning!! big bruises, but nothing broken!!! second night we found a small village and used the 'campingcar' service area, to refill with drinking water and empty toilet and waste, we were then informed, by a notice to stay the night for free in the local school carpark. it was FAB!!! then down to Puy de Feu, where we were able to stay for 2 nights for 10euros.. WHAT A FANTASTIC PLACE.. would highly recommend to families, especially if they span a lot of years! mine ALL enjoyed it immensly we are now staying a this campsite for 2 nights.. and will leave tomorrow to travel further south. the van has been great and <touches wood> everything is working fine!!!
