Hi, We have the ferry booked for Monday 3rd and we are heading for Bavaria taking in the Rhine on the way down and perhaps on the way back anyone going the same way, and any suggestions on places to visit and things to see would be welcome.

Hi,our proposed route is out via Brugge an Aachen and Koln then down the Rhine heading for Heidleburg on the river Necktar from there we aren't sure which way we will go ?

hi, what a trip. Would love to do this, maybe next year. Would want at least 3 weeks. Have a look through wildcamping for motorhomes forum. Lots of experienced euro travellers on there. Have a blast....

Depending on where you are going in Bavaria you could nip over the border into Austria or the Czech Republic - we did it all. A lovely area to explore. Have a peep at camping abroad page on my blog via my homepage above! Ps, on the way home we spent 5 days at the Mosel, another lovely area.

would recommend visitng Rudesheim - and try the Asbach brandy!!!! 17

Also the Rhine in Flames  - amazing firework display on the river in various towns!!

We went last September!

Boppard is nice too (on the 'to do list')

There is also the Munich Beer Festival as well - worth seeing opening parade and wandering around even if you dont drink!!!!

Hi, Stayed at Brugge on Monday night and then headed down to Luxembourg where we are at the moment.

Took the bus into Luxembourg this morning its a great city they even had a 6/7 piece orchestra playing in the town square it was really nice.

We are heading for the Stelplatz at Trier tomorrow if we can get a electric hook up if not we will head further along the Mosel.

weather cloudy but dry 21 deg
