Just had a nosey over a brew.
I'm dying to get away again myself, hopefully later this month to somewhere in Lincolnshire providing the country isn't 6ft deep in snow! lol
Hiya
What are we like eh? The more we have, the more we want!!
Been researching in between calls this morning!!! Found a nice little site that opens 1st March in North Devon so very tempted to book it and give it a try.
Hope you manage to get away soon and avoid the snow!!!
Sharon

Love the photos on your blog! Really motivating! Just picked up a new handbrake quadrant for our little caravan before we head off to Cornwall ourselves very shortly. Cannot wait ! The coastal paths are attractive and works up an appetite. Currently investigating getting a little Nissan nv200 converted to a day van (hopefully a bit more if we can get a roof bed fitted) and that should really fill our time. Would take the caravan for longer spells away. It's good to hear people enjoying life ! It's not a dress rehearsal The south west.......... it just draws you back.

Thanks for checking out our blog dinkum. Hope you enjoy our wonderful county.
Too right, we only have one life and we intend to fill it with as many trips as possible, whether on our doorstep or further afield!!!

hi, ive just bought a small day van, its a honda stepwagon, really pleased with it - perhaps its something to think about? i dont think its big enough to holiday in, but with an awning etc i reckon its great size for overnighters/weekends. drives like a car as opposed to van. there are a couple on ebay at the moment, one is over 8k the other is less than 4k - if i hadnt bought mine i would have been very tempted for the cheaper one!! i was also looking at nissan elgrand, which are a little bigger, but it was the reliability of the honda engine that swayed me in the end.
the elgrand and the stepwagon are both imports, the stepwagon has all the running gear of the honda crv, so parts should be readily available (tho i hope never need them LOL)
ps - i have connection whatsoever with either of the campers on sale!

Looked lovely Sharon, glad you are all well and getting going already this season. We have sold up now.
Ali xx
Thanks Ali, it feels like we've not stopped in all honesty, being away at Christmas helped!! Just booked Padstow site for 3 weeks time so off again very soon.
I gathered from a few of your posts in other sections you'd finished with it all. Good that you're staying in touch on here though!

Nice to see you making the most of it out there, great pics too, we also make the most of it, always away come rain or shine, of to wareham forest touring park Saturday week, and will be doing our usual walks with our two border collies, and yes let's hope we have a decent summer for once this year, it's been pretty miserable out there

We've booked into Wareham Forest in July - first time for us so can't wait to try it out. Heard great things about the place and hoping for some DRY weather by then!!!
Thanks for checking out our blog!

Dave, I just picked the thread up again. thanks for your suggestions, the stepwagon is a super little camper option. We are very close to ordering a new nv200 and should hear from the converter today if he can fit in the options we have requested. I am probably going to set up a blog to show progress with "our" camper. My brother is getting the claimed over 50 mpg day to day which is very appealing. Hopefully more info to come on the nv200
