I recently bought a Mazda Camper (Bongo) - the seller couldn't tell me what the fitments left and right were for - just that they were there when he bought the camper. I have added a couple of links of photo's of the chrome fixture.   The internal diameter is 25mm and they are uniformly fitted suggesting something is installed to connect them. Any idea or knowledge would be appreciated.

Don't know how you did it but thank you very much.

viewers you can see the left and right images of the chrome fixtures. There are two each side directly opposite each other. They have a 25mm circular internal diameter. I posted them on Bongo Fury site which is for Bongo owners but other than clothes rail and possible hammock we are all stumped.

I used to own a fully converted Bongo but it didn't have these fittings sorry can't help you.

My guess would be that you're thinking along the right lines...that or maybe some kind of "storage deck"?...

..and from the photos,those fittings do look as is they've been "self-fabricated" (..rather than them being a standard "after-market" item).
