Hi Woody5, I am having power steering fitted on the 13th of October, by a company called "Talbot Express Power Steering", based in Stratford Upon Avon, ( due to having a severe back injury, which means that I am struggling to steer as is) it comes at a cost of £600, I know of 2 others that have used them and they are 100% pleased with the results, I will let you know how mine goes, they can do they job in around 4 hours and they will also accommodate you overnight if required, on their car park with EHU, hope this helps.

Sorry I am unable to help, I have had some serious heart problems and our old mercedes was sold on quite a while ago now. I may add that the heart problems were NOT caused by the steering on the 207D........Hope it goes well for you with the new fitting.

Just in case any one needs info on this I have a 1984 Autotrail. Christmas 2017 I dislocated my shoulder and as a precaution sent my steering column to rick at easysteer.co.uk he fitted the important welded bit and sent back the kit,column and instructions. It took me about 3/4 of a day to fit. Result 1 finger steering we have since done a trip to Belgium, France and Luxembourg and the Wild Atlantic way in Ireland with out a problem. The best investment I ever made to my motorhome.
