Posted on here a few months ago about getting a van. Put the deposit down a month ago and picked my van up today. Kids love it and I took them out in it after school. It's a mazda bongo with a full side conversion.
Played around packing bits into it this afternoon and its like the tardis! Was worried that I wouldn't fit in half of what I had got but I was wrong, managed to get loads in. Will have to add, food, clothes and toiletries that's all.
We are on Friday for two nights to hayling island for a trial run. Lots to get used to:)

Hi JamieDodger, we've got a new campervan too - a Marquis AutoSleeper Dorset. Picked it up on 18 April and so far have been up to Yorkshire and down to West Sussex. Wife and I both think it's awesome & looking forward to a French trip in September :-)
I've just been looking around at these threads and this is also my first post on here.
It's a real pleasure to drive. Had a lot to get sorted today (errands etc) so have been out and about all day. Sorted out how to work the TV and put together the thermal blinds as the suckers needed adding. I can't wait to get away on Friday:)

Hi Jamie, I noticed that's where you are! Went to the Acorns at Angmering for 3 nights. I've travelled passed there down the A27 any number of times so it was fascinating to stop and find out a bit more about the place. Lovely spot and it was nice to see Harvey's on sale at the local pub (which also did a fine meal).
A day of all things motorhome and campervan. The show is held both in the main indoor arena and across the grounds. Catering, hot drinks and food options are available. Easy access to the site and free parking included. Win one of five pairs of day tickets
