We hope you all had a great Christmas & New Year and are now looking forward to many nights away camping!
We were away for 9 nights over the whole festive period, split between St Ives and Padstow. It was certainly wild and windy and made for some interesting nights in our camper!

Thanks dinkum! We had great weather during the day but the nightime was another matter. The camper has never rocked so much!!!

Just had a read through and posted a couple of comments. Looks like you were lucky with the weather during the day even if it was a bit hairy during the night.
I updated my blog ages ago with my August bank hol, September in Norfolk and November seal weekend trips but forgot to post on here that I'd done it. Also to coincide with Christmas I wrote a couple of totally mad camping songs - if you read through them you've got to promise to sing them

happy new year . spent with the tamar district association at bude caravan site how lucky we are to have all of this so close lovely photoes have made me look for a better camera as you said rock and roll was the order of the day or rather the night love Bude and all the more when your in great company as we were . arrived on sunday left on wednesday as we were afraid the bridge may have closed and not allowed us back into plymouth but no problem oooh shame back soon

Which site did you stay on in Bude?
Glad you had a great time and yes we are incredibly lucky to have all this right on our doorstep! Make the most of it - we do!
We were a bit scared about coming back across the bridge at Wadebridge on New Years Day but it was OK, not sure I'd have fancied the Tamar Bridge though!
