All French/Belgian motorway bridges are at least 4.5metres unless otherwise indicated & certainly none as low as 12feet. In Holland/Germany you will find 4metre motorway bridges but even this is over 13feet so you will be ok.

Be aware your 12ft height is 3.7metres & make a note of it as you can get low briges & entrances in towns, the heights will be indicated in metres of course.

Greetings,
As Michael8 said you won't have trouble with the road bridges.
HOWEVER!!! Beware when turning off the road and going, en route, to say a supermarche.
I have a memory of doing exactly that, and I wish I could remember where it was, certainly at the 'top' end, of turning off a road, in a town and being confronted with a bridge/tunnel that was no more than 2.5mtrs high, big enough for cars and 4x4's but low enough to make a convertable out of the caravan I was towing.

Fortunately, the french had realised that they would have some thicko trying to do exactly that and they had created an exit lane back to the main road

-------------
How come when some people visit the fountain of knowledge, they only gargle!!!
