I think you mean the 'Arapaho' model but are you looking for a new or second hand awning?

The best thing to do is measure the height of awning you require first as I think that drive away awnings can vary in height and then search on the 'Free Adverts' section on this forum plus you could also try Preloved and Ebay. However, if you contact an Autotrail dealer they should be able to give you a list of specific awnings that fit the Arapaho with living space and bedroom area which of course helps in narrowing your search for a quality used one.

Hi Jan....

Can I be a bit cheeky and just ask what you envisage it being used for?..and for how often?...

It's just that "motorhomers"(ourselves include 'til a few weeks back )tend to equip themselves with driveway awnings....with the  idea that they'll add extra space or that Grandkids/family/friends will travel with them regularly..etc

..but more often than not, a) the space isn't worth the mither of putting it all up..and b) the kids/Grand kids etc , only come once in a blue moon anyway...either that or they soon grow up and want to be in their own tent anyway..

You only have to see the amount of nearly-new drive-away awnings for sale...

We sold our  Movelite drive away, without using it in anger...

However we did use a cheap.simple caravan post awning...which was ideal for wet coats, boots etc..

We have a movelite xlf which is pretty big and has two double bedrooms.. Figure of 8 fitting (to go to your existing awning) and the strap type fixings (to go over the top if a van) .
We have used it in awful UK weather along with very hot Italian and German weather and it worked very well for us. We don't use it now as we have changed to a bigger van with a smaller porch awning.
There are some good reviews of the xlf.. Only real down side to it for us was that it takes 2 to erect it.

Would you be interested in selling yours if you no longer use it?

Jan.. We are looking at selling it yes.. As for what it will fit.. It will fit any panel van up to about 3m high and will fit to an existing wind out awning. We're in London.. Where are you?
