You have not really provided enough information to help you. To work on all modes as required the fridge needs to be properly installed, so connected direct to mains through the electric hook up on van, 12v supply via relay to van battery(not leisure battery)& to gas supply.

Usual reason why fridge won't work on mains is failure of 230v element, on gas, if burner is not lighting for some reason or on 12v, element failure again. If it won't work at all then suspect coolant leak & fridge is scrap in this case.

Does the installation look ok or is it a bodge? To sort it youself you do need some practical skills.

No. The 12 Volt wiring for the fridge should never go into the Zig unit. It pulls far too much current for the Zig to handle.
The fridge needs to be wired via a split charge relay to the main battery with one side of the relay going to the battery and the other side going to switched 12 volt line so that when the ignition is turned off the 12 Volt to the fridge goes off and doesnt flatten your battery.

Its really easy. Bang the relay somewhere next to your battery and find a connection that is only live when the ignition key is on and connect the 86 terminal to that.
Then a decent 12 Volt maybe 25 amp cable to terminal 30 then via a fuse to your battery. Then a similar decent 12 Volt 25 Amp fused cable from terminal 87 along to your fridge and finally a 25 amp neg cable from 85 to earth.
Make sure your fridge is earthed to the chassis and make sure you use proper 12 Volt cabling and not 240 Volt.

That way you can never flatten your engine battery by leaving the fridge on
