We have just bought an 04 plate fiat ducato van, its partially converted into a motorhome, we want to put a window in the back door but are struggling to get one, tried a few places and they all say they cant get from supplier, can anyone help with either name of supplier and fitter or a diy kit that would be suitable, we are based in Bridgend, south wales.....

your best bet would be to find a breaker with right door already fitted with a window, rather than get involved in cutting yours and fitting a window, if its not the right colour it will even be easier to do it off the vehicle before fitting.

It would be better to fit a double glazed plastic unit rather than the original single glazed glass, I would have thought. Seitz the caravan window makers will do them. Google for local supplier.

Thanks for advice RonPlatt...we have been in contact with a company today that can supply us with a caravan door window and we can get someone to fit it so things are looking up...
