not that I am aware of, you just go into settings and enable "personal hotspot" or Mobile wifi, different phones call it different things. Then turn it on and set a password, then whatever device you want to use on the net like a laptop for instance, go into wifi and it will see the phone just like any other wireless network connect enter password and your online, its just the same as these wifi dongles and wifi hotspots and the buzzard thing, except usually like in my case I am paying the phone contract and data already and using part of that rather than having to pay for a second device.
