the tickets go on sale one year in advance and those at the races get first first choice by going down to the terminal to Que so getting decent sailing is difficult ..your probably looking at around £600 for a decent sized MH.
Many of those at the racing will also leave a deposit for their pitch for next year so getting a site can also be difficult..the ferries are booked by leaving a deposit which then must be paid in full in February, this is a good time to have a try for cancellations as peoples plans and circumstances change so not all booking are confirmed but you wont be alone and its getting busier ever year of late ....
Hi I booked the Ferry for 2014 TT races on the day booking commenced it was the bank holiday Monday of 2013 tt races , The latest sailing to ioman was Thursday before practice week ,and the earliest I could get back was the Tuesday after TT week , so was there for almost 3 weeks . This was from Heysham and back for 6 mtr motor home and 2 people I upgraded to Premium Loung for a bit of comfort , free tea coffee biscuits fruit (we know its not free really £17.00 each one way in total the Ferry cost £550.00 Ifyou are flexible on length of stay and you get on the phone as soon as bookings open you should be ok Luckily we are retired and 3 weeks was not a problem Good Luck
