You would normally use one or the other not keep changing from one to the other we have just bought a fiamma 45s so when we go for our 2week in France we put awning up and if we do few days here and there we will use canopy you might be better with sides and front on canopy than an awning

We had a Fiamma Zip “room” that attached to the awning,
.
Good points- worked well, dry and gave lots of space
Minus points- very heavy ( check your weights) a faff to put up, expensive
If there was a lightweight option , inflatable I would go for that.
We sold it in the end

We'v got a inflatable its about two mts x two mts its very heavy but on the up side its very easy to put up and take down .and i hate them
