We now travel a lot both in England and Europe. Although I'm a bit of a techno fool, can any of you techno clever people recommend some sort of mobile wifi - that doesn't cost a fortune?

I use a dongle that you top up like a mobile phone. I am on the 3 network that has been great for me. The dongle was £30 with £10 credit.

I use a dongle on 3 its on contract and costs me £8 monthly never had connection problems anywhere

3 MiFi (will take upto 4 devices, ie laptop, tablet etc) on PAYG at £10/top up as and when needed. Good 3G coverage in UK.

Previously used a Vodafone Dongle which was as much use as a chocolate fireguard

We use a MiFi 'dongle' on 3. Ours is a relatively new one, can conect up to 10 devices.

Vodafone mini for us.   £19 at Argos with 2 gb included. Top ups from £5.     They all need a good signal for decent speed
