Has anyone else had a problem with hinges breaking on the little freezer compartment on a Dometic fridge?

yes they both broke replacement off ebay £10 each

Well you just need a screw driver they slide in and are fixed with screws a doddle to fit.

I haven't picked my motorhome up yet but noticed when viewing one hinge was broken so that will be one of the first jobs to be done

Marquis Motorhomes supplied new hinges for it free of charge even though we bought the van 4 months ago. They were easy to fit. Seems they're about £24 for the pair, so could be expensive if they need replacing on a regular basis.

I would make sure your supplier replaces yours before you pick the van up, samandbensmum. If one is broken the other one will soon follow as ours did.
