We packed in with our van 2 years ago but we have missed it so much we put a deposit on a 4 year old Autocruise Rhythm on Saturday.

Been checking out the message forums and it is so good to hear everyone again all the great advice and the funny comments - I have really missed this site!

I will be posting loads of questions as I am sure lots have changed in two years!

Just wanted to say thanks for still being here!

We're returning to the fold too - we gave up camping several years ago as we didn't want to do tents anymore and didn't want to go back to a trailer tent or caravan (both of which we've had in the past). Having enjoyed a few holidays of a different type, during one of those we decided we had a hankering for the sort of holidays we used to enjoy so we now have a motorcaravan. So we're back!

Welcome back. We pick up our van on Friday! First trip is just a local overnight stay on Saturday but I can't wait.

I have even just enjoyed being back on UKCampsite reading all the advice and adding recommended sites to by virtual brochure.

We are back missed the freedom camping gave us we started in tents progressed to folding campers then a caravan now we have our motorhome and I must say I'm loving it welcome to you all and happy motor homing x

We are back (joined in 2009) we have had 4 touring caravans. Then decided it was all too much work so sold last one and bought a static. Had 5 lovely years on a great site on the most beautiful plot, but, decided we needed a change .... so the call of the open road .. !!!!!

First outing on Saturday for one night quite local. The van lived up to our expectations and possibly beyond. Roll on September when we can go away for a few days.
