Hi,

I have a toyota campervan. I have just tried to change a lamp in the light fitting to the rear of the van. I have tried to install an LED lamp. I had to change a few wires around and I think I let the L and N touch. Now the red light above the switch come on whenever I try to connect up. Does anyone know how to re-set the switch. I cant find any fuse for this. The switch still illuminates green but when I complete a circuit the red light comes on above the switch. Current is still being fed but at a reduced strength.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Thank you.

I cant help you at all. However I know that if you ask the question on a dedicated vehicle electrical problem site/forum, you should receive a helpful answer. You may even find a video.

Hi, thank you for your answer. After much looking and investigation, I found that there were indeed fuses. These were covered by a cover on the switch plate that was not apparent from the front. I could see the blades of the fuses from inside the cupboard that the switches were mounted on. Simple fix to remove cover, change fuse and bobs your uncle.

The red light indicates a blown fuse! Just posting this if anyone else has the same problem.

Thanks again.
