I have a 2006 Ace Firenze (old shape cab), which is basically identical to a Swift Sundance 630L and a Bessacar e495.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried using the 11kg bottles from Calor or Flogas and do these actually fit in the gas locker of this year/model of motorhome.

Safest way is to go to a local Gas supplier and try the cylinders. We found that our Motorhome wouldn't take certain cylinders

I'll put money on it that they won't fit.

For some reason UK Manufacturers don't get that motorhomers go on the Continent for protracted periods and need bigger bottles for the purpose.
My mate had a Bessy 450 and he couldn't do it.
In the end he bought a 'Le Cube which from memory only just fitted.

OK - our Laika will take 2 6kgs Calors with ease. It will not take the 11kg cylinders
But it does take 2x 11kg Gaslows and that's why we fitted them

That's interesting. The differences don't look much.

The Gaslows are listed as H 560mm and W 304mm

A Calor 11kg is listed as H 580mm and W 310mm (http://shop.calorgas.ie/cylinders/11kg-calor-propane-gas-cylinder.html)

A Flogas 11kg is listed as H 560mm and W 310mm (http://gasdeal.co.uk/product/11kg-propane-gas-cylinder/)
