Hi everybody. We finally got our Symbol and have spent a whole night away in it! We'll figure out how to work the water heater next time.

But can you advise about security for the van? We feel nervous leaving it in car parks. And we'd like to go walking and that might mean leaving it in some isolated spots.

Would you advise a wheel clamp? They cost a fortune and I worry they might just draw attention to the van so it gets broken into even though the van itself stays put. Or there are pedal clamps. Are they any good? Or would steering wheel clamps be best?

I think it would be too expensive probably to retro-fit an alarm

What do you use? Or am I just fretting too much?

Hi,I dont know what size your wheels are but I have a brand new unused Millenco M3 wheelclamp for sale half price, checkout price in Towsure list, I ordered it by mistake I should have got one for the caravan but I must have clicked on the wrong one by the time I noticed it was too late to return as I destroyed the packaging.

Hi a good auto electrician should be able to fit a decest alarm for under £200. We supply window security film for the cab windows, so when the little darlings try to smash a cab window instead of the usual 1 hit and in, it takes up to 50 seconds, by which time ther have usually given up or are that nackered they can't be bothered.

Cost about £75 diy £125 fitted.

Tim
