We have a Bailey Autograph, I am only 5'3" and find the step very high and and have trouble with the long drop(for me) my Spaniel also finds it a bit of a struggle to get back inside. Can anyone recommend a step, we don't need the 2 tier caravan step type though

I have a 740 and would have thought the drop down from the motorhome step would have been the same as one of those grey plastic caravan steps. One advantage might be that you would be away from the entrance which would give you a bit more room to get on and off the step. The fact that we didn't need a separate step was one of the many things that appealed to us about the Bailey. Perhaps a Fiamma D handle might help?

I had the same problem. I got one of those folding plastic steps but be careful of teh quality as some are very flimsy.

Or, depending on the height you are looking for have a look at half steps like this . I found this much more stable.
