Hi just had my habitation check done and 20% damp in the os bulk head got to repair the seal,I had it done once before about 2years ago ,should it be leaking,it cost me £550 that was with some new insulation boards,should I ask the fitter to go half with me when he gives me the price,or should I look else were,
Trouble is repairers will only do the area showing the leak. So another area will show up later. On my Luton I have had to re-seal it every 3 years. One mistake I made was not using stainless screws to hold down the beading. The heads rusted off, so no seal!
Brianbw ,is it time to get a new mhome,mine is 2010 plate should I keep it ,I had it almost from new,got my fitter to put roof bars on so I could carry a box,and now it's leeks after 2/3 years,???, is it a hard job to do your seft ,hope your job is safe,thanks for your time & help ,wango
